This weekend at the IBJJF Portland Open, the hard work and dedication paid off in a big way. Our competitor was able to secure a dominant 17–0 victory and bring home the gold medal.

It was one of those matches where everything clicked — timing, pressure, and control all came together. Every point earned reflected the countless hours of drilling, sparring, and refining the small details that make the difference on the mats.

More than just the score, it was about testing against tough competition and representing Grey Wolf BJJ with pride. Each tournament is another step forward, and this one reminded me that progress always rewards consistency and heart.
