What makes no-gi tournaments exciting is the intensity and pace. Without grips to slow things down, matches demand quick transitions, sharper movement, and constant adaptability. This weekend gave us the perfect stage to test that, and each round was a chance to see how our training held up under pressure.
The best part was seeing our team come together and perform. From the sidelines to the mats, everyone gave their all and lifted each other up. Watching teammates showcase their skills and fight through tough matches was just as rewarding as competing myself.
At the end of the day, the real win was in how much we grew as a group. Medals will always be a bonus, but the lessons, the progress, and the pride in how we represented our academy are what matter most. We’ll carry that momentum back into training and keep pushing forward for the next challenge.
