Our kids showed incredible courage this weekend when they stepped onto the mats to compete. For many, it was their very first tournament, and that alone is a huge accomplishment. It takes confidence just to sign up, walk out there, and face an opponent in front of a crowd. That kind of bravery is something we’re especially proud of.

The matches were exciting to watch—some fast, some full of scrambles, and all of them packed with effort. Win or lose, every child walked away with a better understanding of their jiu-jitsu and what it feels like to push themselves in competition. More importantly, they walked away smiling, supporting their teammates, and proud of what they accomplished.

What mattered most wasn’t the scoreboard, but the growth we saw in each of them. They gained experience, learned to handle both victory and challenge, and built memories they’ll carry forward in their training. We couldn’t be prouder of the effort, sportsmanship, and heart they brought to the tournament.
