This is a review of the Elite Sports Ultra Light BJJ Gi.
The feel of this is soft with a nice loose fit. I wear an A4 because I use the dryer to dry my gi’s. I wear 2 gi’s per day (morning class & evening class), 6 days a week, so I do not have time to hang dry them. The gi tend to shrink a little bit which fits better for me in the long run.
So far, the gi shrunk a little bit, not as much as my other branded gis, but I have only worn/washed these a handful of times. Time will tell if they shrink any further.
The lapel is soft and not rubbery, the fabric is light and soft. The material feel is comparable to my Gr1ps. The quality is very good and comparable to my other $80-$100 gi price-range. As far as the cost, this is a great gi for those of us that go through gi’s very quickly due to the daily wear and tear.
I do appreciate the minimal brand patching on this Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu gi. Some companies seem to go overboard with this. And this white gi with it’s black patches and blue stitching is a perfect color combination.
I highly recommend this gi brand. I have students at my BJJ School that also wear the Elite Branded Gi’s and they are satisfied with their purchases.
